For harder Class III and Class IV type burrs. Deburring coarse burrs. Good for flat surfaces.

JAZ “CCM” brushes are mainly composed of nylon filaments impregnated with: Silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, diamond, ceramic coating, etc.

The “CCM” line is designed to be mounted as a tool for use in machining centers, robots, flexible cells, etc.

The “CCM” brushes provide a variety of solutions such as deburring, blending and finishing, rounding of edges, contouring of edges and refinement of surfaces.

Our abrasive filament brushes can be run dry (without a coolant), however applying a “coolant” to the abrasive filaments will improve the finish and performance of the tool.

Industries such as Automotive, Aeronautics, Sintered Metals, etc., where surface finishing is important, can find a solution to many surface finishing problems with JAZ “CCM” brushes.

    Additional information

    Tool Holder for CCM Brushes

    • For the correct mounting of CCM brushes in CNC machines, we recommend to use the Tool Holder.
    • The Tool Holder is designed to provide the best performance of CCM brushes.
    • Manufactured in one solid piece to improve the balancing and the life of the tool.
    • The design allows the coolant to flow through the Tool Holder, reducing the heating and also avoiding rust corrosion.

    Class of Burr

    • CLASS I
Micro Burrs can only be seen with magnification.
    • CLASS II
Feather Burrs can be seen without magnification. They can be removed with your fingernail.
    • CLASS III
Well attached small burrs are small in nature, but require a lot of force to be removed.
    • CLASS IV
Well attached large burrs are large in nature and have a larger attachment point than a CLASS 111 burr.
    • CLASS V
Extruded burrs are very large burrs that extrude from the base material. These burrs need to be preconditioned before brushing.
